SAMVEDNA is a non-government, volunteering, secular, social service organization inspired by high ideas of selfless service, sacrifice, fellow-feeling, global human fraternity and universal welfare. It is meant to extend to extent a helping hand full of concern, sympathy and spirit of dedication to all those less fortunate humans who find themselves in a state of misery and helplessness at some tragic moments of their lives. The target population it looks for extending its helping help consists of varied step sons of fortune-the deprived, the backword, the poorest among the poor, orphans and widows, the deserted and the helpless – who really and deservedly look for and desperately need a helping hand, a sympathetic look and a determined positive action.
The free
ambulance service started by the Samvedna Trust in Ludhiana shell run within 40km area.
It shell also provide the free service of delivering the dead body from the hospital to persones house or the funeral place. This facility is provided round the clock. If any brother
and sister need the ambulance service, they contact on this number 95015-00101.
Some of our projects are:
- To extend all possible help to accident victims (Road, Rail, Air or any other unforeseen calamity).
- To insure speedy removal of the victims to the nearest hospital.
- To arrange for Ambulance available on call during any emergencies.
- To help the sick lying unattended and helpless in various hospitals.
- To provide vans for the last journey of the body to the cremation ground and arrange for the last rites.
- To provide for mobile air-conditioned mortuaries for the proper preservation of the unclaimed bodies in various hospitals.
- To provide financial help to the poor, needy students.
- To work against female feticide.
- To bring forward and implement schemes for the protection of the environment and for anti-pollution schemes.
- To work for the victims of natural or national disasters of all types.
- To stand by the fighting forces as a morale booster in times of war.
